Creating a fishing recreation app that New Zealand anglers to organise competitions within their whānau.

Fishing is a popular recreational activity in New Zealand, given its abundance of lakes, rivers, and coastal areas. The Fish4all app, launched in 2017, allows users to log their catches, providing real-time data to contribute to the overall catch and effort statistics.

In my capacity as the sole UX designer, my responsibilities are designing new features, conducting usability testing, and implementing a comprehensive UI design update. The goal is to align the app with standard specifications for the mobile environment, ensuring it is user-friendly, particularly for seniors.

Currently a work in progress, the app is scheduled for launch in early 2025.
